Without a doubt, the participation of international, local, and domestic experts will contribute new perspectives for the analysis, participation plans, ideas, and strategies to define metropolises and subjects surrounding their future in a different way. Part of the wealth contributed by the Congress is the tangential relation between the work tables and the interaction of the subjects of urban complexity and diversity.

 

José Luis Llovera Abreu

He studied his career as architect at the School of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Yucatan. Currently he is the Director General of Urban Development and Land assigned to the Under-department of Urban Development and Territorial Regulation of Sedesol (Department of Social Development).

 

Jordi Borja

He is one of the most important Spanish city planners and of largest projection at the global level. Currently he is the director of the Masters' Degree of Urban Policies and Projects of the University of Barcelona and he has taken part in the preparation of strategic plans and projects of urban development for several European and Latin American cities.

Tom Wright

Tom Wright is the Executive Director of Regional Plan Association (RPA), the nation's oldest private regional planning organization. Mr. Wright lectures widely on growth management and regional planning and has served a resource team member for the Governors Institute on Community Design.
